Dangers of Vaping – Are They Similar to Conventional Cigarettes?
The medical dangers of vaping aren’t known at all. One band of subjects repeatedly smoked cannabis over two days, while another group only used on Cigs. After two days, the test subjects who had smoked cannabis significantly increased their blood pressure levels, had an increased heart rate, and suffered from more severe headaches.
The dangers of Vaporizing cannabis aren’t just limited to those who are using it recreationally either. Children are now showing a heightened fascination with trying Vaporized cannabis aswell, according to a study published in May 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, which is a government agency within the US Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who didn’t smoke at all. It was found that even children who were only occasional marijuana smokers were willing to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t consider the long-term ramifications of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it would appear that the dangers of E-Cigs are pretty much exactly what you might expect from combustible using tobacco. The only real difference is that instead of inhaling toxic gases, smoke is established in an E-Cig, rather than blowing out of a traditional cigarette. The largest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs rather than from actual combustion. Even in this case, though, the dangers of E-Cigs are still considerably significantly less than cigarettes, especially considering that teens have already demonstrated a massive interest in experimenting with vaporized foods, candy, and chocolate.
